NM 91 tool joint and drill collar compound: contains no lead, zinc, copper, aluminum, or any other metal powders. the compound is designed for rotary-shouldered connections and all other threaded connections. this product can be used in all applications where thread compounds are used for the protection of threads and sealing.
NM-91 has excellent water resistance, and good corrosion resistance and adheres to the metal surfaces. it contains corrosion and h2s inhibitors, as well as extreme pressure additives. NM-91 is manufactured to API 7 – ai recommendations. it has a friction factor correction value of approximately 1.2. contains no hazardous ingredients.
