LOS modified high-performance thread compound – contains no metallic powders. this product is an enviro-safe replacement for API modified. it meets the performance specifications of api bulletin 5a2 amd is recommended for use on casting, tubing, and line pipe. use for hydraulic testing of threads up to 10,000 psi.
It provides excellent protection against galling and seizing during make-up and break-out torque. it offers lubrication and sealing properties, as well as long-term corrosion protection of threads. it contains extreme pressure additives, corrosion inhibitors, moisture-resistant additives, and h2s inhibitors. unlike other components, this contains no copper, lead, nickel, or zinc. no hazardous ingredients.
